What is
bottled-in-bond?
In 1897, the United States passed the Bottled-in-Bond Act:
a consumer protection law to guarantee the quality and integrity
of American Whiskey. To this day, Bonded Bourbon must meet these
exacting standards, which you can find on our label.
Age Statement
Must be aged for at least four years.
Season
Must be produced during one distillation season.
Proof / ABV
Must be bottled at 100-Proof, or 50% alcohol by volume.
D.S.P. Number
Must bear the name and number of the Distilled Spirits Plant(s) (D.S.P) where it was produced and bottled.
Old Fitzgerald
decanter series
Each limited-edition release comes in a custom bottle inspired by the
original 1950s diamond decanter design. The packaging also indicates the
season it was released, the product’s age statement, and its “bottled” date.
